Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026-08-22
This Privacy Policy describes how expo-resultado ("we", "our", or "us") collects, uses, and protects your information when you use our mobile application.
Introduction
This Privacy Policy explains how expo-resultado ("the App") collects, uses, and protects your information. The App provides Brazilian election results, candidate data, and related news to the general public. It is not directed to children.
By using the App you agree to the practices described in this policy. Last updated: August 22, 2026.
Information We Collect
We collect the minimum information necessary to run and improve the App:
- Device and technical data: device model, operating system version, language and region, app version, unique device/installation identifiers, network connection type, and crash logs.
- Usage data: screens viewed, features used, taps and in-app events, session duration, and anonymized session recordings/heatmaps used to diagnose usability problems.
- Approximate and precise location (optional): only if you grant permission, used to automatically detect your city/state and show election results for your region. You may deny or revoke this permission at any time in your device settings; the App remains fully usable without it.
- Advertising identifiers: the Apple IDFA (only if you allow tracking via the App Tracking Transparency prompt) and the Google Advertising ID, used for ad delivery and measurement.
- Purchase data: if you buy a subscription or in-app product, our payment provider processes the transaction and returns anonymized purchase and entitlement status. We never receive or store your full payment card data.
- Push notification token: to send you alerts about election results and updates.
- Account data (if you sign in): the authentication identifier and, where applicable, the email address associated with your sign-in method.
- Preferences stored on your device: settings such as theme, chosen app icon, favorite regions, and consent choices.
We do not collect your contacts, photos, microphone audio, camera images, health data, or your voting choices.
How We Use Your Information
We use the collected information to:
- Display election results, candidate information, charts, and regional data;
- Automatically pre-select your region when you grant location permission;
- Send push notifications about results and app updates;
- Detect, diagnose, and fix crashes, bugs, and performance issues;
- Understand which features are used so we can improve the App;
- Deliver over-the-air updates that keep the App current without a store update;
- Display advertising and measure its performance;
- Process and validate purchases and subscriptions;
- Comply with legal obligations and store policies.
We do not sell your personal data.
Permissions We Request
- Location (when in use): optional. Used solely to identify your city/region and show local election results. Location is not used for advertising targeting and is not shared with third parties for that purpose.
- Notifications: optional. Used to alert you about results, counting updates, and important app news.
- Tracking (iOS App Tracking Transparency): optional. If you allow it, advertising identifiers may be used to show more relevant ads and measure campaign performance. If you deny it, you will still see ads, but non-personalized ones.
- Internet / network access: required to fetch election data, updates, and content.
Advertising
The App is supported by advertising delivered through Google AdMob and its mediation partners (which may include AppLovin, Meta Audience Network, Unity Ads, and Pangle). Ad formats may include banners, interstitials, rewarded ads, and app-open ads.
- If you consent (or are outside a region requiring consent), ads may be personalized using advertising identifiers and inferred interests.
- If you decline tracking or withhold consent, you will receive non-personalized ads based only on general context.
- Users in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland are shown a consent form (Google UMP). You can reopen it at any time through the "Ad privacy" option in the App settings.
- You can limit ad tracking system-wide via iOS Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking or Android Settings > Google > Ads.

Legal Basis and Your Rights
Where required by law (LGPD in Brazil, GDPR in the EEA/UK, CCPA/CPRA in California), we process personal data based on your consent (advertising, tracking, location, notifications), our legitimate interest (security, crash diagnostics, product improvement), or the performance of a contract (purchases and subscriptions).
You have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you;
- Request correction or deletion of that data;
- Withdraw consent at any time (including ad consent and permissions);
- Object to or restrict certain processing;
- Request data portability;
- Opt out of the sale or sharing of personal information — we do not sell personal data.
To exercise any right, email luanaalves19879@gmail.com. We respond within 30 days.
Data Retention
We keep data only as long as necessary for the purposes described here:
- Analytics and usage data: up to 14 months, then aggregated or deleted;
- Crash reports: up to 90 days;
- Session recordings (Clarity): up to 30 days;
- Account and purchase data: for as long as your account is active, plus any period required by tax or legal obligations;
- Preferences stored on your device: until you delete them in the App or uninstall it.
Account Deletion
If you created an account in the App, you may delete it and all associated personal data at any time.
- In the App: go to Settings > Account > Delete account and confirm.
- By email: send a request from your registered address to luanaalves19879@gmail.com with the subject "Account deletion".
Deletion removes your authentication record, profile data, preferences, and stored content within 30 days. Anonymized or aggregated statistics that can no longer identify you, and records we are legally required to keep (such as purchase receipts for tax purposes), may be retained. Note that subscriptions purchased through the App Store or Google Play must be canceled separately in your store account — deleting your app account does not cancel billing.
You can also remove all locally stored data at any time by uninstalling the App.
Children's Privacy
The App is intended for users aged 17 and older and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 (or under the applicable age of digital consent in your country, such as 16 in parts of the EEA and under the LGPD in Brazil).
If we become aware that we have collected personal data from a child without verifiable parental consent, we will delete it promptly. Parents or guardians who believe their child has provided us data may contact luanaalves19879@gmail.com and we will remove it.
Security
We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information: encrypted transport (HTTPS/TLS) for all network traffic, access controls on our backend services, use of established providers (Google Firebase, Apple, RevenueCat) with industry-standard security practices, and storage of sensitive local values in the platform's secure storage.
No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security, but we notify users and the competent authorities of any incident affecting personal data as required by law.
International Data Transfers
Your data may be transferred to and processed in countries other than your own, including the United States, where our service providers operate. These transfers are protected by contractual safeguards required by applicable data protection law.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in the App, in the services we use, or in applicable law. The revised version will be posted here with a new "last updated" date. Material changes will be announced in the App before they take effect. Continued use of the App after an update means you accept the revised policy.
Contact Us
For questions, privacy requests, or complaints about this policy, contact the developer at luanaalves19879@gmail.com.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority (in Brazil, the ANPD).
